When I started Uhubs las year, I entered the Learning and Development (L&D) world.
I love diving into a new industry, as it always comes with an avalanche of new insights, and insights are one of the most powerful Unfair Advantages.
I´ll share with you my top 3 insights so far, and actually, they are the things that most boggie my mind:
- A lot of the models anda theories about learning are still from the 1950s and ´60s!
- Learner engagement is still the biggest issue. In other words, mos training is borinf as hell.
- There is still a real struggle to link L&D to performance and track clear ROI.
Let’s not kid ourselves. Technology alone is NOT the solution.
We need leaders to step up and champion a learning culture in their organisations.
I look forward to the day that leaders and CEOs are asking “What have you learned?”, not just “What have you done?”.
